I have owned small businesses for years so I am familiar with the delights and challenges that come along with entrepreneurship. Now that I am a photographer I see how all of my experience with owning those retail store fronts prepared me to serve my business owning, shakin' and movin' clients. It's no small feat identifying and marketing to your dream clients no matter what industry you are in.
We live in a time where information is endless and so are the options. In my businesses then and now I am forever asking myself "How do I stand out?" We want to do so in an authentic way that resonates. So how you ask? While I do not claim to be a marketing expert by any means and I highly recommend working with one, I do know that no matter your strategy visual content is key. That's where I come in.
When I am getting to know a business owner and I am sitting there listening to them share how they got here and why they do what they do I get all the feels. There is passion, drive and a human with a dream behind small business. It's inspiring. I am incredibly grateful each and every time I am trusted with the image of someones brand and for the impact their story leaves on my own. We all have so much to learn from one another.
